G. William Quatman, FAIA, Esq., is an attorney with the law firm of Shughart Thomson Kilroy, P.C. and practices in the firm's Construction Law Section. Bill is a licensed architect who has extensive experience representing contractors, owners, architects, and engineers on both public and private construction projects. Currently, he is legal counsel to the Kansas City Chapter of the AIA and the Builders Association of Missouri. Bill is a member of the Design-Build Institute of America, a co-founder of the Mid-America Chapter of the DBIA, is on the Design-Build Committee of AIA/Colorado, and is a former president of both the Construction Industry Affairs Council of Kansas City and the AIA/Missouri. He teaches construction law courses at the University of Kansas. In May 2000, Bill was elected to the College of Fellows of the AIA. Randy Dhar, AIA, is a registered architect in Toronto where he is Director of Industry and Government Relations for Public Works and Government Services Canada. He is the 2001 Chair of the Design/Build Professional Interest Area of the American Institute of Architects. As an active member of the Design-Build Institute of America, Randy serves on its International Committee as well as Public Sector Owners Committee. Randy is a founding member of the Canadian Design-Build Institute (CBDI) and has been the 2000-2002 chair of its Education and Communication Committee.
