Global warming is killing our blue planet quietly & water crisis seems an unfortunate unavoidable future. Shrinkage of forests & Green-fields make regeneration of Persian Garden vital as a great achievement of ancestors who valued essence of life in water & plants and mastered in creating gardens. Everyday, modern life becomes less-green more-cement style but there is a public debate about social and psychological perspectives of architecture on " should we build cities for cars, people or both". In designing today's cities, based on human centered approach to urban planning, "a sustainable, healthy, social and eye-level attractive environment with a variety of well-defined meeting places in a human-scale, with close connection to surrounding nature" is considered. This vision can transform industrialized cities into a livable and sustainable neighborhood. The urban landscape must be experienced through all five human senses at a walking speed rather than riding speed. As of this, the Persian garden might not be THE solution but certainly could be an experience-proven practice to make green lands in today's cities where it is most needed.
