Nashville native Scott Faragher began his professional carer as a talent agent at Nashville's Nova Agency at the beginning of the Outlaw movement in country music, representing Waylon Jennings, Tompall Glaser, Dr. Hook, Jerry Lee Lewis, and David Alan Coe. As an agent at Lavender-Blake, and subsequently at Dick Blake International he represented Ronnie Milsap, Brenda Lee, Carl Perkins, Merle Haggard, Louise Mandrell, the Statler Brothers, George Jones, Tammy Wynette, and others. As president of In Concert (exclusive agency worldwide), he represented Mickey Gilley, Johnny Lee, James Brown, Jerry Lee Lewis, Fats Domino, John Anderson, Johnny Paycheck, Lou Rawls, Gene Watson, Charly McClain, Brenda Lee, Johnny Rodriguez, and others. He also was the first manager for Billy Ray Cyrus, and later, manager and agent for country legend Ray price. His first book `Music City Babylon (Inside the World of Country Music)' was followed by `The Branson, Missouri Scrapbook', `The Complete Guide to Riverboat Gambling', `Making it in Country Music', `The Peabody Hotel (with Katherine Harrington)' `The Hammond Organ, ' and several other books including one on vintage cameras, another on collectible beer signs, another on Porsche cars, etc. He was also a contributing author for London's `Insight Guides: The New South, ' and has written for DeSoto Magazine. He currently splits his time between Nashville and `Grey Gables' in Holly Springs, Mississippi.
