Crystal Yutzy was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada. As she grew up, her passion for art grew into a dream of authoring and illustrating children's books. As an adult, she moved to Reno, Nevada with her family before continuing on to Maui, Hawaii. In every place she has lived, she loves painting local plants and animals. As a mom, she decided to write her first children's book, "The Armor I Wear" to assist in teaching her son about the Bible.
