Autorenporträt
After 37 years in finance, Sue retired and discovered the joy of painting, which has now become her greatest passion. She hopes to ignite the same passion in others. Sue Trusler grew up in the Victorian seaside town of Penarth where she married and had two children before moving to Cardiff. Having bought a small narrowboat, with an expectation of relaxing cruises and a slower pace of life, fate played a wild card. Traditional canal art was needed to bring back the boat's original character. With no previous art skills, Sue took up the challenge. She successfully painted the boat and went on to paint roses on watering cans, plant holders and other decorative items. Her new passion for art led to many exciting opportunities and experiences and she learned to paint with acrylics, watercolours and inks. A thirst for knowledge and desire for continuous improvement, led to magazine articles being published and work being displayed in exhibitions. Talking about her art journey has given encouragement to others.By sharing her passion, enthusiasm and knowledge, it is her greatest wish that you will find it's now "Time to Start Your Art".
