The prime cause or motive of this book is to educate its audience about the statistics that have been published in the domain of employee engagement and employee retention. This book examines the overall level of employee engagement within the Telecom Service Providing Industry of Pakistan, and the extent to which workload distribution, growth, work environment, training opportunities and employee empowerment contribute to employee retention within the identified organizations. Nevertheless, the monetary elements of employee retention in these service providing companies is beyond the scope of this study. Findings of this book confirm that there is a positive and direct association among employee engagement and employee retention. More specifically the dimensions of engagementnamely; workload distribution, growth, work environment, training opportunities and employee empowerment all show an affirmative impact or effect on the amount of retention in the Telecom Industry.
