It compiles field work, surveys, questionnaires, data and diverse information analyzed in the light of current theoretical frameworks and the regulations that frame the subject. The transition to primary school, to "first grade", is experienced as a major change for the child, both in terms of family organization and expectations, as well as in terms of the demands that primary school will make on them. Kindergartens are the first incorporation of the child into the compulsory education system. It is here that they begin to systematically acquire the knowledge that will enable them to structure reality and acquire the skills necessary for access to subsequent levels of learning.
