The Audiovisual Modes of Orchestration: Cognitive Analysis of Cinema integrates psychological, and phenomenological approaches and concepts to understand the complex processes of art and its interpretation. Cognitive perspective towards narration helps to transport the viewer through a process which opens up dimensions for a camera-based film experience. Through different cinematic examples it is possible to study the characteristics and prerequisites of true artistic originality, and they are cognitively interesting examples of audiovisual orchestration of images and sounds in a creative way. Through individual cinematic analyses, the author wants to explain and investigate the underlying cognitive structures of narration, and emphasize the importance of this kind of understanding of filmic display.
