I learnt the spiritual journey had nothing to do with being nice. It was about being real and authentic. Having clear boundaries. Honouring my space first and others second. Whilst being in this space of self-care, kindness flowed naturally. This was motivated by LOVE and not by fear. At the age of thirty, I was diagnosed with cancer. This was when I learnt to come out of my head and into my heart. My decision-making came from a completely different place. Alignment occurred, supporting my truth, health, happiness, wisdom, and LOVE. Transformation came through a process of letting go, trusting, and self-healing. Affirmations, meditations, and rituals were just the beginning of a heart-centred way of living.

Autorenporträt
Taela W. Terrillion was born in a hospital that is now a high school parking lot. Growing up in the mining city of Elko, Nevada, she developed a love for reading and telling stories but set it aside for several years while dealing with the trials of life. While obtaining her BSE in Secondary Education, her love for writing was rekindled and she began to put her ideas down on paper, all the while incorporating the lessons that she has learned. Her work has since been published in literary magazines, and she is now a High School English teacher in Missouri. She enjoys spending her free time writing, playing the ukulele, taking photographs, and hiking with her dog.
