Autorenporträt
Karen Brewer is a mother-baby nurse who has been working over the past 20 years for a health system in the Greater Kansas City area. She is passionate about her career as a registered nurse specializing in mother/baby care postpartum, and wants the utmost care for her patients, as well as for other patients out there. While not finishing college the first time around (a business major that didn't go so well), she went on to work a state government job and raise a family. Soon she realized that this was not the path she wanted to continue on, so she went another route and returned to school when the older two were very young. Changing directions and completing her nursing degree became the turning point of her new career and her family's future. She is married to her college sweetheart, Bobby, has two adult children with another one ready to fly the coop, and a beloved "puppy" Gordy and calico cat, Lilo. She lives in Kansas City, Missouri.
