Disaster strikes the community of Blairton Crossing the result of illegal drug use, Janet determined to find a way to help and in desperation turns to Peter. Janet & Peter start an anti-drug program, proving to be an indomitable team. Facing challenges, including death threats, assaults, and personal attacks, Janet and Peter's friendship grows closer and more personal as they work together to help the students and the community.

Writing duo Marianne and Richard, known by their penname Marianne Richards, are a married couple hailing from Sherwood Park, Alberta. Even with four grandkids to keep them busy, Marianne and Richard find time for their hobbies. Marianne enjoys crafts such as sewing, quilting, reading, and cross-stitching while Richard enjoys carpentry, woodworking, and photography. Richard has written a book on Parliamentary Law, and The Bandage Solution (2023) is Marianne and Richard's first co-authored book.
