My name is Julie Gyuran. I am passionate about the importance of accepting your true self. I was inspired by my friends, Shelly Potter, Gail Schwanke and Amy Koeppe. Their idea of trying to draw a cow in Amy Koeppe's classroom led me to writing The Barking Cow. It's about how to be yourself, even if others don't get who you are.
