Autorenporträt
Lance Lambert ist einer der hervorragendsten Bibellehrer und Sprecher in Israel mit einem weltweiten Lehrdienst. Er wurde 1931 geboren, wuchs in Richmond (England) auf und bekehrte sich im Alter von 12 Jahren zum Herrn. Er studierte an der Universität London Afrikanistik und Orientalistik, um sich auf eine Arbeit in China vorzubereiten. Doch waren nach der Revolution für ihn, wie für alle europäischen Missionare, die Türen zur Einreise nach China verschlossen. Er blieb in England und gründete die Halford House Christian Fellowship in Richmond. Nachdem er herausfand, dass er jüdischer Herkunft war, wurde er 1980 israelischer Staatsbürger und wohnt heute unmittelbar vor den Toren der Altstadt Jerusalems. Mit seinen langjährigen Erfahrungen als Beter war und ist Lance von Anfang an bis heute im Leitungskreis und als Sprecher der Januarkonferenzen der Fürbitter für Israel zu finden. Er ist bekannt für seine endzeitlichen Einsichten, womit er in die Tradition von Watchman Nee und Theodore Austin-Sparks tritt. Mehrmals im Jahr bringt Lance Lambert sein langjährig geschätztes "Middle East Update" heraus, in welchem er seine Sicht und sein Verständnis über die aktuellen Geschehnisse und Entwicklungen im Nahen Osten im Licht des Wortes Gottes darlegt. Er hat eine Vielzahl von Büchern geschrieben sowie Videos und CDs produziert.
