It is understood that to treat separately some indissoluble linked components in the psycho-physical synthesis of musical art might seem, at least in principle a real contradiction in adjecto, but still such an approach is possible both logically and methodologically. Indeed, the notions seem to be separated because in reality the sound universe is separate and independent of art, and its phenomena can be studied and used for purposes other than music. In fact, in acoustic physics, musical acoustics occupies a tiny place. But the situation is different when we reverse the relationship. We will find that if sound can exist and can manifest outside music, instead music cannot constitute and manifest outside sound. So it is not the sound that depends on the music, but the music is absolutely dependent on the sound.
