Hailing from Minnesota, Rachel Ann Michael Harris has wanted to be everything thing from FBI agent, actress, search and rescue dog handler, to teacher. But being a writer has been the only career that has stuck with her since childhood. She loved it so much that when she heard about a career where a degree in creative writing was acceptable, she was ready to jump. Double majoring in creative writing and communications, she graduated Magna Cum Laude and her first published work was a poem in her college's literary magazine. Since then, she's had numerous flash fiction stories published with Havok Publishing and is a contributor is several anthologies. She is currently working toward publishing her first full length novel. The Beauty of Magic is her first published novella. When not writing, she is bingewatching a favorite TV show, reading (hopefully) a good book, or doing one of these things when she should be writing.
