Best known affectionately as "Pastor Jack," Jack Hayford experienced the awesome, miraculous power of God his whole life. He was miraculously healed on two separate occasions when the medical odds were not in his favor. These life events ignited in him a passion for God and convinced him of the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in the modern church. Pastor Jack was the founding pastor of The Church On The Way in Van Nuys, California, and served as President of The International Church of the Foursquare Gospel from 2004-2009. He served as Chancellor Emeritus of The King's University, which he founded in Los Angeles in 1997. A prolific and bestselling author, Pastor Jack wrote or collaborated on over 100 books and composed over 600 hymns, including the internationally acclaimed hymn "Majesty." Acknowledged as a bridge builder across the body of Christ, Pastor Jack's heart was to bring unity across all denominational and racial boundaries. Pastor Jack is still recognized today for his balanced teaching, faithful to the uncompromising truth of the Bible.
