Jim Pierce is a retired insurance executive living in Houston, Texas. While he spent his entire career in the insurance industry, he majored in history in college, and his passion for history remains unabated. In 2022, he published "Treachery", a novel about Abraham Lincoln's challenges during the first two years of his Presidency. Jim believes that while Lincoln and Winston Churchill could not have been more different, they had one common connection. They were the right men, in the right place, at the right time. Jim is married, has four children, and two grandchildren. He says he knows his children are smart, because they have all chosen to make Texas their home.
