Mother Moon has dreamed of writing books for children since she was five years old. Over the years, this desire to write transformed into a desire to help children through song. Her goal is to encourage growth and healthy development for body, mind, spirit, and community that includes loving and caring for our bodies, honoring curiosity and the intrinsic value of learning, uplifting ambition and courage, and supporting kindness and communication across all kinds of interpersonal relationships. Leah Giles grew up in Toronto, Canada, where she later studied film, animation, and illustration. Leah loves any and all things bright, bold, and radically lovely. She currently paints, draws, and collages in a noisy little apartment near the park in Brooklyn, NY. Learn more at leahgiles.com
