Bernadette Watts, geboren 1942 in Northampton, England, studierte Illustration und Kunst am Maidstone College of Art in Kent. Seit 1968 arbeitet sie als freie Illustratorin. In fast 50 Jahren hat sie unzählige Grimm- und Andersen-Märchen für den NordSüd Verlag in ihrem einzigartigen Stil illustriert. Bernadette Watts lebt und zeichnet in Kent.
