Arlene Miller, also known as The Grammar Diva, is the author of ten grammar books, a self-publishing book, and a novel. Arlene's easy-to-use and friendly grammar books clear up common grammar issues and are used by many schools and colleges. In addition to writing books, she writes a weekly blog post about grammar and words. She also copyedits both fiction and nonfiction and offers grammar and business-writing presentations and workshops. She previously worked as a newspaper reporter and editor, a technical writer and editor, and an English teacher. She has been a featured speaker at many California Writing Club chapters (Redwood Writers, Napa Writers, South Bay Writers, Mt. Diablo Writers, Fremont Writers), Sonoma County Book Festival, Bay Area Independent Publishing Association (BAIPA), Sonoma County Library, Romance Writers of America, College of Marin, Copperfield's bookstore, and several Rotary and other community groups. She has taught grammar classes at several colleges. Arlene is a member of Redwood Writers, Independent Book Publishers Association, and Bay Area Independent Publishers Association. She holds a bachelor's degree in Print Media and English, a master's degree in Humanities, and California teaching and school administration credentials.
