Autorenporträt
Daniela Ortega is the head chef at the Vida Bakery in Brick Lane, whose mission is to provide indulgent free-from goods that can be enjoyed everyone. It all started back in 2014 when Dani (coeliac and vegan) struggled to find sweet options, matching her dietary needs. Along with her co-founder Vane, she started with a pop-up store in 2015 and the pair then opened the doors of their first store in the coveted Brick Lane in 2018. Since then, they¿ve experienced massive growth and have become known as champions of minority-owned businesses, being role models among the Venezuelan and LGBTQ communities.
