Born to a military family, Joseph A White Jr lived and travelled world-wide, gained a Business/Psychology degree, and chose the Pacific Northwest of the United States to settle, raise his family and pursue his careers - first in telecommunications, then environmental, health and safety education. His interest in science fiction blossomed in his teens while doing research for an essay for a class assignment. The mystery of what takes place in our minds while asleep, during meditation, and yoga provided the foundation for his Between State Series.
