She loves writing young fact books and has worked on hundreds of titles over the years, from picture books to extensive encyclopedias. Polly Cheeseman is an experienced writer and editor with a particular interest in science and nature for children. She has worked on a wide variety of publications, including books, annuals, magazines and part-work collections. Jean Claude is a self-taught illustrator living and working in Manchester, UK. While he's most at home with his drawing tablet and a cup of strong coffee, Jean also enjoys long walks with his dog Ted, preparing elaborate meals and visiting the zoo for artistic inspiration!
