Dr. Calaway is the lead minister of The Gate in Hammond, Indiana, where he has served for over thirty-five years. The Gate is a multi-site, multi-ethnic church with campuses and Home Churches called GateHubs. Over the past thirty-five years under his leadership, The Gate has planted four churches and over twenty house churches, started a non-profit company, and started businesses to help people gain jobs and additional sources of revenue. Dr. Calaway has also started a housing development company, Keystone Communities, and is founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of InnerMission.
