Mother Earth needs help, but at what cost? Experience the suspense and mystery of the latest in the best selling legal thriller series from the award-winning author critics hail as: "One of the strongest thriller writers on the scene." After a large oil spill threatens the coastline of Santa Barbara, Lawyer Brent Marks' girlfriend Rebecca takes on the big oil companies. Initial victories in her class action case lead to her all-out declaration of war against fossil fuels. When she turns up missing, a suspected victim of foul play, Brent finds himself questioning whether to continue with the case. What critics are saying about this action-packed legal thriller: "Few writers in this legal thriller genre can match Kenneth Eade's creative ability to present facts in a way that with the help of his main character Brent Marks we can catch a glimpse in the legal intricacies around us. Said once and said again, Kenneth Eade is one of our strongest thriller writers on the scene and the fact that he draws his stories from the contemporary philosophical landscape is very much to his credit." Literary Aficinado "Eade, a lawyer by profession, weaves legal dialogue, corruption and international action to create a pacey read with echoes of Grisham, Baldacci and Clancy nipping at his writing heels. Law issues as well as forensics and police procedures are clearly explained with such authority as to add gritty realism in and out of the courthouse, but it's within the court drama that Eade really packs some punch. SPR Review What readers are saying about Brent Marks Legal Thriller Series: "Eade excels at the two most important aspects of writing, character development & the story line. To compare him to Grisham, Michael Connelly, Robert Crais, to name a few of my favorites, is not an understatement. The complexity of his characters & story lines in his novels is every bit as good as these "big boys" of the legal courtroom/ police procedural genres." Kristine Lovas "Held my attention from the first page to the last. I would highly recommend this book and any others by Kenneth Eade." Diane G "Expect the unexpected as the author takes you on one thrilling ride of plots, murder in this legal thriller that you won't be able to put down." Cyn
Autorenporträt
Described by critics as "one of our strongest thriller writers on the scene," author Kenneth Eade, best known for his legal and political thrillers, practiced International law, Intellectual Property law and E-Commerce law for 30 years before publishing his first novel, "An Involuntary Spy." Eade, an award-winning, best-selling Top 100 thriller author, has been described by his peers as "one of the up-and-coming legal thriller writers of this generation." He is the 2015 winner of Best Legal Thriller from Beverly Hills Book Awards and the 2016 winner of a bronze medal in the category of Fiction, Mystery and Murder from the Reader's Favorite International Book Awards. His latest novel, "Paladine," a quarter-finalist in Publisher's Weekly's 2016 BookLife Prize for Fiction and winner in the 2017 RONE Awards. Eade has authored three fiction series: The "Brent Marks Legal Thriller Series", the "Involuntary Spy Espionage Series" and the "Paladine Anti-Terrorism Series." He has written twenty novels which have been translated into French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese."I've been writing all my life, but began publishing my work out of a passion for the environment. My wife, Valentina, is a professional photographer, who worked for two years on an environmental exhibition called, "Bee Cause I Care" which was exhibited in 2014 by the Prince Albert II Foundation to bring awareness to the importance of pollinators and the dangers facing them. I penned a few articles on the subject for the Los Angeles Daily Journal and turned my research into my first book, "Bless the Bees." That passion continued with the publication of my novel, "An Involuntary Spy," which is an action thriller that also points to the dangers of genetically engineered food. Then I began publishing the "Brent Marks Legal Thriller Series," which, in part, is based on actual experiences during my long career in law."I try to put as much realism in my novels as possible, and they all revolve around important social issues. I treasure all of my readers and love to hear from them, whether it's good or bad. Sometimes I make changes based on their suggestions and one reader has inspired a character that has appeared in my latest seven novels."Email: info@kennetheade.comFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/KennethGEadeBestsellingauthorTwitter: https://twitter.com/KennethEade1ECommerce site: http://www.amazonsellers.attorney
