Joshua Stein is an academic who works on philosophy, politics, and economics. He has a Ph.D. from the University of Calgary in philosophy. He has written extensively on the ethics, social science, and politics of new technologies and government regulation. He writes across a range of platforms and has published in mainstream, academic, and think tank publications. His major focus is the ethics and economics of emerging technologies, especially digital and medical.
