This work studies the birth of nationalism in the identity experience of German and Austrian musician-composers on a foreign soil, France.Nationalism is indeed born from an experience, from an experience that one makes of one's own identity. In the case of Mozart or Stamitz, this experience is born of their status, perceived status and lived status in the Parisian society of the time. The eighteenth century is a century where the notion of identity unfolds. Paris, a melting pot of culture and new ideas, is the very identity of the musician that is called into question. The objective of this study is to determine the factors that allow the birth of a German and Austrian nationalist sentiment even though no German state has yet been created.I hope that this book will contribute to the evolution of the understanding of peoples, of the global and particular identity of nations, while respecting historical issues.
Autorenporträt
As an entrepreneur, I work between France, the United States and Canada with the goal of reviving the historical discipline among Millenials, my generation. I am convinced that it is through knowledge of our past that we can develop a better understanding and communication between nations and people.
