Autorenporträt
I have never written a book before but I have 75 years of life experiences of good and bad things. I have a background as an auto mechanic and drag racer, and built and drove a 1957 Chevy wheel-stand car in the 1960s. I took a scriptwriting course in 1986 from the script editor for the Beachcombers TV series. I produced a TV show at the same time as a volunteer at Shaw cable in White Rock. I was born and raised in Winnipeg and moved to Vancouver in 1968 with my twin brother. I've read a lot of crime and adventure novels over the years. My mother passed in 2019, and for some unknown reason it triggered me to write a crime novel. My mother Rose taught me to write my name before I started school, and she nursed me through the summer when I suffered from polio. Spending the summer in the hospital with other children and seeing some of them not able to walk after has softened my heart for children's charities. I hope people enjoy my vision of the future and the loving family moments in this book.
