Dave Sivers grew up in West London, England. During his civil service career, he gained a first class honours degree from the Open University and moonlighted as, among other things, a nightclub bouncer, a bookmaker's clerk and a freelance writer. Since leaving the day job, Dave has become a successful Indie author. His books include the popular Archer and Baines contemporary crime novels, set in Buckinghamshire's Aylesbury Vale, and the Lowmar Dashiel crime fantasy novels. His short fiction has earned prizes and publication, and he has written for newspaper and magazined, as well as plays and other material for the amateur stage. Dave is a founder of the BeaconLit literary festival held annually in Ivinghoe, Buckinghamshire. He lives in Buckinghamshire, England, with his wife Chris.
