H.s.i.Merillat is an author & illustrator from the Piney Woods of East Texas, where she draws on her serene surroundings to create imaginative stories for young children. She found her passion for writing fantastical stories while raising her own children, often writing poems with whimsical watercolor illustrations. Now with a new generation of starry-eyed grandchildren, she has drawn again from this dreamt up world, to introduce a series of children books for others to enjoy.
