Author Robert P. Savitt lectures and writes on a variety of historical subjects and is a past president of the Baltimore-Washington Chapter of the Society for American Baseball Research. Bob holds a doctoral degree from Georgetown University, has served in the Departments of Defense and State, and was legislative director for a US senator.
