My sixth poetry book, The Blues & The Grays, comes 10 years after I graduated high school from a small town. It's a prologue to my first five collections, and it gives you a peek into my teen years from fourteen to eighteen. I took my school colors and used them to illustrate the constant blue heartbreak we experience in those hallways, as well as the gray areas that tend to leave us confused and chaotic.
