Autorenporträt
John J. Collins, Ph.D. (1972) in Semitic Languages, Harvard, is Holmes Professor of Old Testament Criticism and Interpretation at Yale University Divinity School. He has published widely on apocalypticism and Hellenistic Judaism. Recent books include a commentary on the book of Daniel in the Hermeneia series and The Scepter and the Star, on Messianism in the Dead Sea Scrolls. Peter W. Flint, Ph.D. (1993) in Biblical Studies, University of Notre Dame, is Associate Professor of Religious Studies and a Director of the Dead Sea Scrolls Institute at Trinity Western University in Canada. He has published several articles on the Psalms, the Scrolls, and the Septuagint, and is one of the official Editors of the Dead Sea Scrolls.
