She is dedicated to spreading awareness for child safety/abuse and mental health illness/stigmas. She is committed to educating people and promoting change in a very flawed system as too many children continue to fall through the cracks. This is her passion, mission, and goal to break the silence.Lisa was honored in the "2023 Women of Impact" by Business West Magazine.

Lisa Zarcone is one remarkable woman. Her childhood was nothing less than hideous. Her ability to survive in her silent world of treachery is truly astonishing. A wife, mother of three, and grandmother of three (Memah), Lisa is the everyday woman with an extraordinary gift for giving and is full of passion. Lisa gained her voice by validating her story, and she healed through the process. She was able to see the view and perspective of the people in her life, and that is where she found forgiveness. Lisa has a passion for working with those who have mental illness. What her past has taught her about mental illness cannot be read in a textbook. "I am a voice for the voiceless, and through my voice, I hope to promote healing." Lisa's motto is "Embrace The Journey" because you never know what life will hand you next.Lisa is currently the Massachusetts National Ambassador for NAASCA (National Association of Adult Survivors of Child Abuse). She is spreading awareness for child safety/abuse and mental health illness/stigmas. She travels all over to publicly speak as she is working towards raising awareness, educating people, and promoting change in a very flawed system as too many children continue to fall through the cracks. She has worked with disabled children and adults teaching life skills and writing. She also served as a mentor to young women in a locked-down facility teaching journaling, poetry, and art therapy. She has also done a lot of work advocating for Suicide Prevention and Post Raumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Awareness.Lisa inspires others through her social media platforms, offering encouragement, motivation, kindness, empathy, compassion and inspiration.
