Autorenporträt
Andrea Antico has a BA from the University of Texas and a MLS from the University of Denver. Andrea worked as a school librarian/media specialist in Aurora and Denver, Colorado, and for the Department of Defense School System in Bad Kreuznach, Germany and Atsugi, Japan. After retiring with over 30 years in librarianship, she substituted in the Denver and Aurora public schools. Andrea is a member of the American Pen Women and CIPA, the Colorado Independent Publishers' Association where she was the chair of YAL, the Young Authors League of ELF, the Education and Literacy Foundation of CIPA. Andrea has written several educational articles and authored a teacher-resource book about writing book reports. BUSTER THE BULLY: A Change in the Weather Helps Him Change His Ways is her first children's book. THE SUGARPLUM TREE, her second children's book, received first place in CIPA's children's literature category. Andrea currently resides in upstate New York.
