BRUCE ANDREW JONES was born on August 8, 1961, in Harlem Hospital in Manhattan, New York, to his parents. Moses Andrew (Jack) Jones and Lillian C. Jones. He grew up in Staten Island, New York, in the Jersey Street Projects, next to Mahoney Playground, with his two successful baby sisters, Lisa and Denise. He attended Curtis High School in Staten Island and moved to Dumfries, Virginia, where he graduated from Garfield Senior High School in 1980. Bruce played basketball at both high schools. He began his federal career at the FBI Headquarters in Washington, DC, January 1981. He transferred to the United States Postal Service (USPS). During this time, he graduated from Control Data Institute, where he studied computers, electronics, and technology. He is known in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area as New York for his New York accent, playing basketball, spinning tables in the DC Metropolitan area, and of course, pushing those high-end luxury automobiles- Benz and BMW. He presently drives a Lexus LS. Nothing like it.
