Rita Van Damme was born and raised on a farm in Manitoba, Canada. Her imagination and creativity comes to life in her writing, a gift that was passed down to her from her mother. Tales of the paranormal have been a constant fascination for her, and at the age of seven an incident occurred that led her to believe in its existence. When asked when she knew she wanted to be a writer and why, Rita said that deep down, she has always wanted to write. "I am an avid story teller, and having my stories in print for others to enjoy is a wonderful experience." Besides writing, Rita's greatest passion is her family. She currently resides near the small town of Glenora, Manitoba, where she continues to farm with her husband Raymond. She enjoys reading and playing poker and she loves to spend time with her family. The Boundaries of Evil is Rita's second fictional novel.
