What is perhaps the most important aspect of human existence remains most of the time confined to one of the opposite realms of superstition or unconditional faith. This is because it is a reality that is part of a dimension that we cannot perceive and we cannot demonstrate its existence. The purpose of this text is to create a broad and complete mosaic to have an overall vision that offers a different perspective on many mysteries of the immaterial sphere. The fulcrum for our analysis is that entity in some ways evanescent that perhaps contains all the mysteries, the self. We will search for the self starting from the basic principles of brain functioning, highlighting the mysteries that it hides and trying to identify its logical structure with the help of analogies with respect to intelligent electronic systems. We will highlight peculiarities and shortcomings that open the door to hypotheses that shift the field of analysis to an interaction with the world of the spirit based on electromagnetic waves and we will highlight how this can be congruent with the existence of the many phenomena that remain in what is called border science. A complex and suggestive journey that touches on all the topics, beliefs and superstitions that can represent a piece for the formation of a complete mosaic, a mosaic of which everyone can appreciate, share and understand more or less each piece but which overall gives everyone a clarifying and illuminating vision. The proposed conceptual path allows us to define a mechanics, a physics, a logic, behind apparently inexplicable phenomena such as out-of-body experiences, possessions, ghosts, mediumistic channeling, as well as behind hypnosis, meditation, etc. But it also offers deductions with respect to psychological and neurological phenomena that cannot be explained in scientific literature, phenomena that often overlap with similar ones relegated to the sphere of the paranormal. The mosaic that emerges ultimately allows us to understand what is "on the other side", without superstitions, fanaticisms, cults, doctrines, this will make everyone's existence more serene and everything will have a different perspective. A mosaic for a certainty: nothing ends and we are already beyond, earthly fears and sufferings are the result of not knowing and not understanding. This text is full of interesting information on various topics, it provides in a simple way some notions that for many may be pure curiosity or general culture, for others a starting point for further analysis. They can in fact be a stimulus for those who study or deal with neuroscience, artificial intelligence and in general philosophy, religion and border science issues. At the same time the text proposes an interpretation of some aspects of human existence that are certainly of interest to everyone. In addition to a form that is as linear and light as possible, without excessive technicalities or useless insights, it contains some narrative traits, including autobiographical ones. The ultimate goal of the text is however to give everyone the opportunity to perceive life in a new way, having a different perspective of everything that is beyond the body, while providing opportunities for hope and comfort to those who suffer for the loss of loved ones.
