This publication is about an experiment involving the city, culture and the internet; with the aim of involving society in a specific academic research project to help complete a master's dissertation. The dissertation was completed and the experiment, entitled "Brasília por Pessoas", took a back seat, but was not forgotten. As a project that involves cultural policies, with a social bias, I present its formal bases, methodology and expected results so that it can be disseminated, replicated and developed at other levels. The main contribution is the involvement of citizens in the project's realization processes, which makes it a collaborative social experiment, involving citizens in urban policy proposals that involve culture and society.
