"Quisisana, Or, Rest at Last" (1879): A story centered around themes of healing and rejuvenation, set in a tranquil retreat. As a literary critic and editor, Spielhagen contributed to the development of German literature and culture. His works were widely read and discussed, influencing both his contemporaries and later generations of writers.
