There is a Halloween story about a magician that should be more careful what you wish for. Other stories are about an encounter with an alien who gets her revenge and there is a western, Angelic Stranger, about a gunslinger who causes chaos by minding his own business. Born in 1940 Neall Ryon can truly be considered a Renaissance man. Since, as a teenager, he heard Socrates' maxim that an unexamined life is a wasted life, Neall has focused on seeking to understand the meaning of life, his life. Apart from being a perennial student of life, his work history includes a variety careers as a research manager, a business consultant, a business owner, a teacher, a husband, a father, a wanderer, a poet and for a year the co-host of a radio show; World Poetry Café. In his travels throughout the world and his wanderings through a life of adventure he sought to answer the question; "What is there in life that is real and meaningful?" He concluded that a meaningful path was not to be found in the experiences of life's external offerings but in seeking out the truth that hides within each of us ... our inner spirit, our Soul. The conclusion is it is not what you do in life that gives it meaning, it's the passion with which you live it.
