Tom Frye has worked for the past 45 years as an advocate fortroubled youth. He began his career in high school, serving as astreet contact for a runaway shelter. When residents at a detentioncenter, asked for sequels to his stories, Tom knew he haddiscovered a way to connect with them. He has served as a mediatorfor his own truancy program, providing escorts to schools foralternative students. He once produced a substance abuse challengecourse that impacted 15,000 at-risk kids.
