John R. Mohn has taught journalism and advised student publications in five high schools, Shawnee Mission East, Great Bend, Ellinwood, and Washburn Rural (Topeka) in Kansas and Almont high school in Almont, Michigan; college photography at Kansas University, Kansas State University; and college journalism at the University of Evansville, Evansville, Indiana. He and his wife, Chris, owned and operated "The Ellinwood Leader," Ellinwood, Ks. He served as a newspaper consultant to the Jawa Pos Group of Indonesian newspapers for 10 years; and became a confidant of Dahlan Iskan, CEO of Jawa Pos Group and former Indonesian Minister of State Owned Enterprises. This is Mohn's first novel.
