David Livesey is a retired animator and painter, living in theIsle of Man since 2003. David retired to the island after a long career in the animation industry, working as a Key Animator on such films as The Snowman, Yellow Submarine and The BFG.This is his fourth illustrated book. Previous publications include The Buggane of St. Trinian's, The Moddey Dhoo - The Black Dog of Peel Castle and My Friend Elsie. Ernest is a compilation of several family tales David remembers hearing as a child.
