Autorenporträt
Michelle Brunette has been an avid writer ever since she was seven years old. She has been wanting to write this book since age twelve, but it wasn't until she suffered from her own battle with depression as an adult that she felt like she finally had the life experience required to get inside the head of someone who struggles with their mental health. In addition to her own experience, Michelle was inspired to write this novel based on her parents' relationship. Although the events of this story are highly fictionalized, her father is bipolar and suffers from a brain injury, just like Wallace in the novel. Michelle's educational background in mental health and psychology also helped her write about the signs and symptoms of mental disorders. She hopes that sharing this story will highlight the importance of mental health awareness. When she's not writing, Michelle enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family and friends. She also works full-time as a Wealth Management Advisor. Michelle lives in Sudbury, Ontario, and this is her first novel.
