Peter Ely is a graduate of Penn State University, with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Ely has dedicated his life from the age of twenty-six to the development of his writing skills, having written innumerable novels, novellas, and short stories over the past forty-four years, exploring human psychology, while spending an equal amount of time in the workplace, deepening his understanding of human nature and of himself.Peter Ely presently resides in Bryn Mawr, PA, and does much of his literary work at the computers in Ludington public library in Bryn Mawr, PA, and the Magill Library on the campus of Haverford College in Bryn Mawr, PA.In 2005 Peter Ely published Gunpoint, with Publish America, a thriller featuring the same newspaper reporter heroine, Ellen Turner, who appears in The Butcher.
