At USC, he distinguished himself as a two-sport athlete, competing in both volleyball and football during the Pete Carroll era, a time highlighted by back-to-back national championships. Currently, Hanson is transitioning back into society, residing in a Federal Bureau of Prisons Halfway House in Los Angeles.
