Autorenporträt
Jonathan Barnes lehrte Philosophie an den Universitäten von Oxford, Genf und Paris. Er ist Mitglied der Britischen Akademie der Wissenschaften, Autor zahlreicher Werke zur griechischen Philosophie, insbesondere über Aristoteles, und Herausgeber von dessen gesammelten Schriften.
