An early description of the 'operation of your sun,' also known as the opus alchymicum. This allegorical poem, sometimes going under the tile 'Bloomfield's Blossoms', by the 16th Century alchemical philosopher and physician, William Bloomfield, was included in Ashmole's Theatrum Chemicum Britannicum, 1652. A number of early manuscript copies have survived.
