The Canaletto View documents an art-in-architecture project with works by Olga Chernysheva, Marcus Geiger, Tomislav Gotovac, Sanja Iveković, Edward Krasiński, Roman Ondák, Florian Pumhösl, Hans Scheirl, Slaven Tolj, Franz Erhard Walther, Clemens von Wedemeyer and Lois Weinberger. The project was realized in 2015 on the occasion of the inauguration of the new premises designed by the architects Dieter Henke und Marta Schreieck. The building with its art works is located in the area of the former Southern Railway Station and counts as Vienna’s biggest urban expansion project since the Gründerzeit in the late 19th century.
